Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm - Pricketts Fort Visitor Center

Come and join rifle builder Sam Thompson as he takes you through the process of installing decorative wire inlay and metal inlays to transform your rifle or knife handles in to historical and decorative works of art. Tools will be provided and also for sale. This is a great class for gun builders, knife makers and furniture builders. Min. 6 students, Max 8. PFMF Members $225, Non-Members $250. There is also a $40 material fee.

Hours of Operation

Visitor Center:
Open Daily - 10am to 4pm
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays after Labor Day
After October 31st, Closed Weekends until April 26th

Fort Tours:
The 2021 season begins on April 26th and runs through October 31st. Self-guided audio tours are available during the off-season.

Starting April 23, 2018, Prickett's Fort State Park and the Pricketts Fort Memorial Foundation will no longer allow for pay photographers (photographers for hire) to take pictures during operating hours and special events. Photographers are welcome before and after regular business hours and special events. Please see times and upcoming events page.
