April 9th to April 12th: The Pricketts Fort Memorial Foundation invites you to join us for a weekend encampment during the School of the Longhunter. It is a weekend geared toward 18th century interpreters, re-enactors, and history enthusiasts.

The Camper Registration is for those NOT attending the seminars.

  • 12 – 5 pm - ARRIVAL AND SET UP
    *CHECK IN, VISITOR CENTER​
Friday, April 10th
  • 9 – 10:30 am - Emily Burns - Shirts and Their Creation
  • 10:30 – 12 noon - Jeff Pavlik - Food & Rations of the Continental Army
  • 12 noon – 1 pm - LUNCH ON YOUR OWN
  • 1 – 2:30 pm - Willy Frankfort - Associated Accoutrements to Fit Your Kit
  • 2:30 – 4 pm - Peter Kelly - Fortified Structures of the 18th Century
  • 6 – 7:30 pm - FORT FEAST  
    *Please bring a covered dish.
Saturday, April 11th 
  • 9 – 10:30 am - Simeon England - A Good Edge Wins, Heat Treating in the 18th C. *Ax Kits $80, Limited to 25
  • 10:30 – 12 noon - Anthony Winegar - TBA
  • 12 noon – 1 pm - LUNCH ON YOUR OWN
  • 1 - 2:30 pm - 13th VA Battalion - In Defense of Liberty
  • 2:30 – 4 pm - Steve Gengelbach - Trials & Tribulations of the 2nd Company, Part 2
  • 4:30 – 6 pm - DINNER ON YOUR OWN

  •  All Day Saturday -18th Century Yard Sale -  (Used Items Only) No Charge but Must RSVP for a Spot in the Upper Parking Lot to Set Up.
